Lammas or Lughnasadh is a Pagan holiday celebrated on August 1st. It symbolizes the end of the summer period and the beginning of magical fall. The Lammas holiday is also closely connected to the harvest season. It is traditionally believed that the period of Lammas celebration was very important in the religious communities, not only from the perspective of Pagan or Christian traditions but also due to its agricultural significence.
